Modular Rigid Drop Stitch Floor Provides Double Protection
The unique modular design of the Sea Eagle Explorer™ features a super rigid, high pressure, drop stitch floor that sits on top of an outside floor. This has several advantages. The high-pressure DS floor provides great rigidity and super responsive paddling performance. The reinforced outside fabric floor provides a double layer of added protection so it can bounce off rocks, logs, and other objects. The modular design allows the DS floor to be easily removed for quick and thorough cleaning.
16 Rapid Self – Bailing Easy To Open & Shut Drain Valves
When the 16 rapid self-bailing drain valves are open, you are sure to drain off water as quickly as it enters! With the drain valves closed you are certain to remain high and dry when paddling on flat waters such as lakes, bays and other bodies of water.
Large Removable Rear Center Skeg
A nice feature of this design is that the skeg can be removed with the Explorer inflated or deflated. Simply remove it for whitewater and skinny water adventures (eliminating it as an obstruction)and replace it for flat water to reduce yawing (swinging to the right or left). Integral 5-Tube I-beam Floor
Several years ago we changed our floor construction from a 7 tube I-beam floor to 5 tubes. This greatly enhanced the paddling performance of our Sport Kayaks because the paddler sits higher and most of the weight is born by the floor, rather than the side chambers.
Because larger I-beam tubes have more rigidity than smaller tubes it also created a more rigid inflatable floor with natural chines which improve the speed and tracking of our Sport Kayaks, making it easier to paddle long distances whenever you wish.
Two Rear Skegs For Tracking And Speed
Tracking is very important in a kayak. Inflatable kayaks need skegs to track smoothly across the water – otherwise your paddling effort is wasted. Cheaper competitive boats without rear skegs just weave and wander across the water, wasting your paddling effort.
The Sport Kayaks feature two molded skegs – just like a surf board – so you go faster and further with less paddling effort! These skegs are made of an almost indestructible molded plastic that will not be harmed by hitting rocks or running up on the beach.
Deluxe One-way Valves On All Air Compartments
These Deluxe One-way Valves are simple and easy to use. A great improvement over traditional pipe valves which are hard to close, loose air easily and crack over time. Our Deluxe Valves come with an inner diaphragm which allows air to be pumped in without air escaping afterwards. The larger opening of the Deluxe Valves allows for rapid inflation and deflation. Comes with molded O-rings that can’t be lost and a tether that will keep them attached to the hull at all times. Final seal is achieved by the outside cap for true air tightness.

The RazorLite™ Kayak’s Unique Bow and Stern Design with Tapered Side Walls

Catamaran Kayak Hull Design
The unique design feature of the Sea Eagle PaddleSki™ is the fact that it is actually an inflatable catamaran. This means the center cockpit floor rides 4″ above the waterline, greatly reducing the drag of this kayak on the water. This makes it faster to paddle, motor, and sail!
Outside Pontoon Stance
Because the pontoons are on either side of the paddler this kayak is our most stable kayak ever. This makes the PaddleSki™ a super stable kayak that can be used effectively for a variety of task! In particular, this feature allows the PaddleSki™ to be sailed safely in winds up to 15 knots.
Over & Under Crossbar Design
The over and under design of the crossbars with a long crossbar on top of the pontoons and a short crossbar under the floor held together by stainless steel bolts and knurled nuts is the structure that holds the two pontoons in place. The longer top crossbars prevent the pontoons from twisting outwards, the shorter crossbars under the floor pull upwards and prevent the pontoons from twisting inwards. This provides a strong structural platform that allows the PaddleSki™ to take many useful accessories, such as the motor mount and sail rig.
